Crossmolina AFC have announced the formation of their first-ever women’s team for the 2023 season.

Derek Greham will manage the new women’s side, his first role with the club since last managing our senior men’s team to Tonra Cup glory back in 2019. Jess Gough will take on the role as Derek’s assistant and oversee the team behind the scenes in an administrative role.

The club announced the news in a statement: “Many heads have worked tirelessly over the last number of months to get a side ready for entry into the Mayo Women’s Football League.
