One Mayo man selected on GAA.ie Team of the Week

One Mayo man has been selected on the GAA.ie Team of the Week following his performance against Galway on Saturday night.

Belmullet’s Ryan O’Donoghue was chosen at left corner-forward as he kicked 0-7 (4f), including a stunning equaliser at the death, in what was a hugely exciting National Football League Division 1 opener.

Galway captain Seán Kelly was selected at full-back as he raised a green flag in the second-half.

Meanwhile, Roscommon’s Niall Daly and Ben O’Carroll, in his first league start, were also included following their win 3-11 to 1-12 victory against Tyrone.
