Three teams have joined the Mayo Football League for the season ahead.

Castlebar Town have rejoined the league and will start next season in McDonnell Construction League Two under the management of Pat Ahern, who was assistant manager at Castlebar Celtic B last season.

Iorras Aontaithe are back in the Mayo league again having withdrawn from the competition last year. They will be managed by the joint-management team of Micheal McHale, Micheal Meenaghan and Brendan Nallen and will compete in League Two.

Ballinrobe Town will also enter a B side into League Two. The south Mayo club re-entered the Mayo League two years ago and have achieved tremendous success ever since. Their A team will start this season in the Premier League, having captured the League One title in 2022.

Round One of the Super League and Premier League will kick off on the weekend of February 25/26 while League One and League Two will begin a month later on March 26.
