An extremely popular Mayo dealership scoops top prize for Connacht at the recent CarsIreland.ie awards in association with Lombard.

JJ Burke Car Sales beat off stiff competition in their province winning best social media in Connacht for the quarterly awards.

The Ballinrobe dealership are known for their creative online campaigns that really are attention grabbing. A recent campaign saw JJ Burke’s give away a set of jerseys, a customised jersey for the winner and training session with their brand ambassadors Mayo Senior Footballers Diarmuid O’Connor and Tommy Conroy to Tourmakeady GAA club. One of their members, Joanne De Burca entered JJ Burke’s jersey colouring competition winning outright above over 1200 other competition entries.

Pauline Burke, Dealer Principal said; “We are thrilled with our award. We are lucky to have such a wonderful team who always roll in behind any campaign. Hannah Whooley, our marketing executive manages our social media platforms, she is amazing. She produces creative content ideas and receives incredibly good engagement. Social media so important it is imperative that ours is always on point.”

This is yet another accolade for the award-winning Ballinrobe dealership. The family run business will be celebrating their 48th birthday early next year. Set up in 1974 by JJ and Helena Burke, the successful multi-franchise dealership is now managed by their three adult children Pauline, Karen, and Joseph. Karen said, “it is always an honour when our work is recognised, we are delighted for Hannah who works so diligently for the company, she deserves this award.”
