Mayo GAA are investigating all the circumstances surrounding an incident at an under-17 semi-final yesterday evening in Josie Munnelly Park.

Castlebar Mitchels were leading Westport 2-5 to 1-2 when an incident occurred at the goalmouth area involving an adult non player and an under-17 player, according to Midwest Radio.

The referee abandoned the game and Mayo GAA has now launched an investigation in to the matter.
