Sinéad Diver won the Blackmores Sydney Women’s Half Marathon yesterday.

The Belmullet native finished in 1 hour 13 minutes and 7 seconds (73:07), which was a course record and a clear winner by over three minutes of just under 3,000 women.

Over 36,000 runners and walkers took over the Sydney Harbour Bridge, marking the 20th anniversary of Australia’s largest running festival, Blackmores Sydney Running Festival.  The scenic marathon is a candidate race for the Abbott World Marathon Majors.
