It was heartbreak for the Connacht U18 girls today in Energia Park as they were defeated 15-7 to Leinster in the Interpro series.

Ballina RFC’s Emily Foley scored the Westerners only try.

There were 10 Mayo girls on Connacht’s matchday squad.

They will take on Ulster in their final fixture.
