Dublin ladies’ football supremo Mick Bohan has been linked to the position of Roscommon senior football manager.
In the aftermath of Anthony Cunningham’s departure on Wednesday, the Irish Independent is reporting that Bohan and Pádraig Pearses boss, Pat Flanagan, are the front-runners to be Roscommon boss in 2023.
Bohan led to four All-Ireland titles in-a-row (2017, ’18, ’19, ’20), only to be denied a fifth after losing to Meath in the All-Ireland final last year.
Flanagan oversaw Pádraig Pearses’ maiden Roscommon SFC title in 2019 and led them to another title in 2021, where they went onto win the Connacht championship defeating Knockmore in the final.
Other names mentioned include former Clann na Gael manager Liam Kearns, county U-20 football manager Liam Tully and Moycullen boss Don Connellan who is a former Roscommon player.
Connellan was in charge of Moycullen for their first ever Galway SFC title win in 2020.
