A stunning video shared by the Galway Mountain Rescue team on Twitter shows pilgrims climb Croagh Patrick on Reek Sunday.

Reek Sunday, which is held on the last Sunday in July, took place for the first time since 2019 at the weekend.

It is a tradition that has taken place for over 1,500 years.

The Galway Mountain Rescue team tweeted footage taken by the Irish Air Corps.
