Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision on the N5 in Mayo.

The crash occurred at the Charlestown junction, near the N17 flyover, shortly before 11am this morning.

There are no serious injuries to report at this time, according to Midwest Radio.

It is understood that the road may be closed to traffic temporarily for the removal of the wreckage.
