Two Mayo men have been included in head coach Andy Farrell’s 23-man Ireland squad for Saturday’s opening Test against New Zealand at Eden Park in Auckland.

This is the opening Test of a three Test series.

Lacken man Caelen Doris starts at number 8, while Ballina native Dave Heffernan is named in the replacements.

Connacht’s Finlay Bealham and Bundee Aki are also named among the replacements. The latter captained Ireland and scored a try in yesterday’s 32-17 defeat to the Māori All Blacks.

The game kicks-off at 08.05am Irish time and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports and RTÉ Radio.
