It is now looking likely that Kerry star David Clifford will be fit for Sunday’s All-Ireland senior football championship quarter-final clash with Mayo.
The three-time All-Star missed last month’s Munster final win over Limerick and there has been rumours that he won’t fit on time for Sunday.
However, speaking to Radio Kerry, Kingdom manager Jack O’Connor says that the Fossa club man is back in training.
“We have a few bumps and bruises at the moment so we won’t know until later on in the week if those players will be available or not.
“He (Clifford) has trained, yeah,” O’Connor revealed.
