Mayo finished their Kennedy Cup campaign on a high after they defeated South Tipperary to take 19th place in the tournament.
Adam Naughton, David Lally, Tony Carey, Mathew Scahill and Oran Murphy were among the goals as Mayo won 5-3 in the 19/20th playoff yesterday.
Meanwhile, Galway and Sligo/Leitrim went head-to-head in the 7/8th playoff. Jack Sweeney gave Galway the lead in the second half against Sligo /Leitrim. Colm Doyle doubled their lead before half-time.
Jack Nicholson pulled one back for Sligo/Leitrim and the same player equalised in the last minute.
After the spot kicks Galway took the win and 7th place 4-3.
Elsewhere, Samuel Hanson hit two and Szymon Skoczen the other as Roscommon won 3-1 in their game against South Belfast who had Conor Greer on the scoresheet in the battle for 13th and 14th places.
