Mayo are through to the semi-finals of the Kennedy Cup Shield following a 4-1 victory over Kerry at the University of Limerick this afternoon.

Mayo were 3-0 up in the second half and Kerry pulled a goal back, but they finished strong grabbing another.

They will take on Limerick Desmond tomorrow morning at 10.30am, with the other semi between South Tipperary and Clare taking place at the same time.

Meanwhile, Galway and Sligo/Leitrim have both made it to the quarter-finals of the main competition.

This evening (Wednesday), Galway will take on Wexford, while Sligo/Leitrim face Waterford, who topped Mayo’s group. Both games kick-off at 5pm.
