Mayo are preparing for their Kennedy Cup Shield quarter-final this lunchtime as they take on Kerry in the University of Limerick.

The game will kick-off at 1pm.

Mayo finished third in Group 7 having won one out of their three games.

In their first fixture, they lost 2-1 to West Cork, but got their campaign back on track with a 6-1 win over Inishowen in their second game. However, they lost their final game to Waterford 3-1 yesterday evening.

Meanwhile, Galway and Sligo/Leitrim have both made it to the quarter-finals of the main competition.

Galway will take on Wexford, while Sligo/Leitrim face Waterford, who topped Mayo’s group.
