The referee for Saturday’s All-Ireland SFC qualifier between Mayo and Kildare has been confirmed.

Tipperary’s Derek O’Mahoney has been confirmed will take charge of the whistle with the game throwing in at 6pm in Croke Park.

This will be the first championship meeting between the counties since the famous ‘Newbridge or Nowhere’ game in 2018, when a Kildare win ended Stephen Rochford’s term in charge of Mayo.
