A woman in her 70s was taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Ballina yesterday evening.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene at O’Rahilly Street, Ballina shortly after 4pm yesterday after a pedestrian was struck by a car.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 70s, was taken to Mayo University Hospital in Castlebar.
Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
