It was a memorable night for Ballina RFC as two players were awarded at Connacht Rugby Awards in the Clayton Hotel in Galway last night.

The Connacht Rugby Awards marks the achievements of clubs, players, coaches and more across all levels of rugby in the province.

Centre Calum Quinn was named Connacht Men’s Senior Club Player of the Year.

Out-half Harry West was named Connacht U19 Men’s Player of the Year.

Ballina RFC shared their pride in a statement this morning:

“Both men have been terrific ambassadors for the club on and off the field, showing immense leadership in games alongside their club captain, Luke Sweeney and fellow team mates.

“The accolades are well received and deserved by both players.

“Congratulations to Callum, Harry and to their respective family’s, coaches and fellow team mates.”
