The 2022 Fleadh Cheoil Mhaigh Eo will take place on Achill on the weekend of May 7-8.

The 2022 Fleadh Cheoil Mhaigh Eo will take place in at Scoil Acla CCÉ, Achill on the weekend of May 7-8.

The last time Scoil Acla CCÉ hosted the county Fleadh was in 1996.

The weekend will begin, with an opening night featuring music, song and dance in Óstán Oileán Acla from 8-9.30pm. Competitions will take place on both Saturday and Sunday across the island.

The official Fleadh Mass will be celebrated in Achill Sound Church at 11.30am on Sunday morning.

Tommy English, Chairperson of the Fleadh Cheoil says they looking forward to welcoming the many hundreds of competitors, their families and supporters to Achill and wish them all the best of luck.

There will be a Céilí mór in Óstán Oileán Acla on Saturday night at 8.30pm.
