Geesala native Clara Barrett was on the end of a brilliant team-move which saw the Ballina RFC player touchdown in what was an historic game in Edinburgh at the weekend.

It was in the inaugural Women’s U18s Six Nations competition.

Barrett got on the end of a magnificent run from fellow Connacht player Molly Boote and showed great hands to score the try in a 17-12 defeat to England.

Barrett also played the full game in their 17-10 defeat to Wales this afternoon.

It is the first ever U18s Women’s Six Nations tournament and Ballina RFC players Barrett and Sarah McCormick featured, you can watch below.
