The National Lottery are continuing to urge players in Galway to check their tickets carefully from Saturday December 25 draw last year as a Match 5 prize remains unclaimed.

The Christmas Day Lotto draw saw 36 players nationwide win an incredible €22,778 each.

The Galway ticket holder is the final Match 5 winner from that particular draw left to claim their share of the prize fund.

They purchased their ticket at Mannion’s Mace at the Top Service Station (previously Emo) on the Milltown Road in Tuam, Co Galway on Friday December 24.

As ticketholders have 90 days from the draw date to claim their prize, the Galway winner has just two weeks left to claim it.

The deadline is close of business on Friday March 25 2022.

The winning Lotto numbers for the draw were: 11, 17, 19, 23, 26, 43 and the bonus 31.

A National Lottery spokesperson has appealed to Lotto players to check their old tickets as soon as possible.

The ticket holder should make contact with their prize claims team immediately on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.
