The Mayo senior ladies kept up their unbeaten run in Division 1A of the Lidl National Football League after they defeated Donegal 2-7 to 1-7 in the Connacht Centre of Excellence in Bekan yesterday.

17-year-old Sinéad Walsh kept her dream start to life as a Mayo senior footballer as she found the net again for Michael Moyles’ side, while Shauna Howley also raised a green flag.

They will go on to face Meath in the semi-final on 19 March with Donegal set to take on holders Dublin.
