The Mayo senior ladies’ postponed derby clash with fierce rivals Galway in Division 1 of the National Football League has been re-fixed.

The game was due to take place last Sunday in Tuam Stadium, but it was moved to Bekan when the pitch was deemed unplayable.

The decision was made to postpone the fixture not long after due to Storm Franklin.

The LGFA have announced this morning that the big game will take place in Tuam Stadium this coming Sunday with a throw-in time of 2pm.

Michael Moyles’ charges are looking to build on their convincing 7-22 to 1-12 victory over Westmeath last time out.
