The Mayo Football League have released their Teams of the Year, and released their shortlists for Players of the Year.
These awards will be presented at the Presentation Dinner on Wednesday March 16 in the Castlecourt Hotel, Westport.
They are also delighted to announce that the Guest of Honour on the night will be Mayo man Pat Duffy, FAI UEFA Delegate.
Next weekend we will announce the recipients of the (1) Henry Downes “Service to Football” awards, (2) Hall of Fame, (3) Club Person of the Year, (4) Shortlist for Club of the Year
Announcement times will be circulated during the week.
Super League Team of the Year
There is no surprise that Ballyheane have dominated this year’s Super League Team of the Year as they went undefeated throughout the season. They have five players on the starting 11, while Ben Edeh, Sean Kilcoyne and Liam Irwin are nominated for the Super League Player of the Year award.
