Status Yellow wind and rain warnings have been issued as a spell of unsettled weather moves across the country over the weekend.

Met Éireann has issued a Yellow wind warning for Mayo, Galway, and Donegal with strong south or southwest winds gusting up to 100km/h forecast.

The warning comes into effect at 3pm and will remain in place until midnight.

A separate Yellow rain warning has been issued for Cork, Kerry and Galway from 6pm this evening until 6am tomorrow morning, with localised flooding possible in some areas.
