It was a memorable weekend Down Under for Mayo women as both Cora Staunton and Sarah Rowe scored goals for their clubs in the AFLW.
Mayo and Carnacon legend Cora Staunton continues to break records as she became the oldest player in AFLW history, at 40, as she scored two goals in GWS Giants’ 36-21 victory over Gold Coast Suns. Cork’s Bríd Stack also made her debut for the Giants.
