A pair of Mayo racquetball stars are all set for a South American adventure having been selected on the Irish racquetball team for the IRF World Championships which take place in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
Katie Kenny and Majella Haverty, who are both members of Castlebar Racquetball Club, will jet off this week to pit themselves against the very best players in the world at the championships which are being held from December 1 to 7.

Majella Haverty will compete in the singles division while Katie Kenny will partner Arklow’s Antonia Neary in the doubles division. An added bonus to do well in this World championships is that athletes can qualify for the World Games in Alabama, USA next year.
