The Air Dome at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence in Bekan will be used for the pre-season FBD League competition next January, Connacht GAA announced yesterday.

All fixtures of the FBD League will be played in the Dome, which is an all-weather indoor facility, and the competition is straight knockout.

Ballaghaderreen’s Andy Moran will take charge of his first competitive game as Leitrim manager, when they take on Sligo on Tuesday, January 4. The winners of that will play a semi-final against Roscommon the following Saturday.

While Mayo will get their campaign underway against Galway in the other semi-final, on Friday, January 7. The final is set for Friday, January 14.

All games will be live streamed and with counties having 26-player panels and all players allowed see action.

There will be two extra-time periods of 10 minutes each if the teams finish level after normal time and then a Golden Score to decide the result after that if necessary.
