There are 27 patients with confirmed cases of Covid-19 at Mayo University Hospital (MUH).

A total of three of these cases were confirmed within the last 24 hours according to the HSE’s Daily Operations Update report, while there are no further patients currently awaiting the results of a swab, according to the Update.

In addition, there are no patients with Covid-19 in the Intensive Care/Critical Care Unit in the Castlebar hospital as per the HSE report. However, there are currently no ICU/CCU beds available at the facility.

The latest figures of the HSE are accurate as of 8pm last night (Tuesday). It marks an increase of 10 patients on the figure recorded at 8pm the previous Tuesday, November 2 (17 patients). At that time, there were three patients with Covid-19 in the ICU/CCU at MUH.
