The National Lottery are continuing to urge Lotto players all over the country to check their tickets from Wednesday night’s draw after thirty players came to within just one number of the €19.06 million jackpot on offer.

The selling locations where each of the thirty tickets that matched five numbers in the midweek draw have been revealed as each of the winning ticket holders will now go on to claim €29,273 each.

In Mayo, a winning ticket was sold at Mace/Top Oil in Charlestown, with three more winners from the region coming from Galway.

As Wednesday night’s jackpot was capped, this meant that the funds that would usually be added to the jackpot were instead distributed to the next prize tier at which there was a winner. Since there was no winner of the Match 5 + Bonus category, the additional funds were then added to the next tier with a winner which was the Match 5 prize tier.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “Have you checked your Lotto ticket from Wednesday night? Thirty people in sixteen counties all over Ireland came astonishingly close to the massive jackpot in the midweek draw after matching five numbers in the Lotto draw to win €29,273 each.

“There were ten players who purchased their tickets online at www.lottery.ie while the other twenty winners purchased their winning tickets in-store. We are advising all thirty winners to contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.”
