The Mayo Masters Football League is set to return on Wednesday 10th November, with Solar 21 Park being cleared to play 7-a-side matches.

Last week, the Mayo League had announced all midweek games were cancelled due to an issue with Solar 21 Park’s floodlights because it was simply too costly for them to fix it.

However, yesterday it was announced that the Mayo Masters Football League will go ahead after the Mayo Football League were given clearance as the floodlights passed the relevant tests to resume 7-a-side action, but competitive 11-a-side matches still cannot be played.

For the first week, there will be six matches played on Wednesday 10th and six matches on Friday 12th November, due to the fact the Ireland v Portugal match is on Thursday 11th.

From there on, the games will be on Wednesdays and Thursdays each week up to Thursday 16th December. Matches on each night will kick off at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm.
The FAInet portal is now open for registrations.  All players must be registered, there is no charge for players already registered in the league, there is a €5 charge for new players.
