The 13.10 Westport-Heuston train was delayed in Claremorris this afternoon due to anti-social behaviour that resulted in the Gardaí being called to the scene.
Iarnród Éireann tweeted at 2.29pm today that the service was delayed and that they were awaiting the arrival of the Gardaí due to anti-social behaviour.
At 2.49pm, they issued an update to say that Gardaí had arrived on site and at 3.13pm, they tweeted once more to say that the Westport-Heuston train remained held in Claremorris.
At 3.45pm, they issued a final update.
“13:10 Westport – Heuston has departed Claremorris operating approximately 120 minutes delayed.”
