An adorable toddler from Tyrone has gone viral after footage emerged of her cheering for Mayo despite the best efforts of her exasperated mother.

Caroline O’Neill posted an Instagram video of her daughter Tess learning the words to some chants for Tyrone ahead of this weekend’s All-Ireland final but Tess, who has had Mayo chants stuck in her head since cheering them on against Dublin a few weeks ago, hilariously kept cheering for the Green & Red.

“Tess is a little confused about who she wants to win,” wrote her mother.

“We are obviously cheering for Tyrone to win but Tess can’t forget about good aul Mayo.”
