Mayo will face Roscommon in the Connacht U20 Football Final after the Rossies overcame Sligo in a thrilling contest yesterday evening.

A high-scoring game, it finished Roscommon 4-13, Sligo 2-12.

The Mayo U20’s advanced following a dramatic semi-final of their own.

It took sudden death penalties following extra-time to separate them from the reigning provincial and All-Ireland Champions Galway on Tuesday evening in Tuam.

The final between Mayo and Roscommon will take place next Wednesday at MacHale Park. Throw-in is at 7.30pm
