A local business duo has been heralded as being among Ireland’s best and brightest young entrepreneurs.

Peter TImlin and Richard Grimes

Peter Timlin and Richard Grimes have experienced great success with their newly launched eco-friendly, sustainable clothing range, Pure.

Third level students Peter Timlin (Ballina) and Richard Grimes (Enniscrone) were included in a two page spread listing Ireland’s top 30 entrepreneurs under the age of 30 in yesterday’s Sunday Independent, December 29.

The pair have already enjoyed a successful track record as business partners, dating back to when they were students at St Muredach’s College in Ballina when they formed half of the Unity Racing team that came 8th in the 2017 world finals of the prestigious F1 in Schools competition.

They also operate Attigo – a social media and marketing agency.

Last May Richard (20) and Peter (19) launched Pure Clothing – an eco-friendly alternative to fast fashion brands.

The Pure online fashion range, which includes varied designs of hoodies, t-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags and gym bags, offers comfort, style and luxury together with the assurance that you are making a difference by buying an eco-friendly product.

The range has been manufactured using a fully sustainable supply chain with all products ranging from fabrics, labels, threads and packaging being recycled.

Richard and Peter have worked hard to market their range online and say the brand’s performance has surpassed expectations to date with sales recently exceeding €100,000.

Future plans include expansion into the UK market.
