A Ballinrobe man has been charged in relation to the seizure of €23,000 worth of drugs in the town.

Hugh Corr (31) of Carnalecka, Ballinrobe appeared before Castlebar District Court to face four charges relating to the offences.

Det Gda Kieran Naughton said he arrested Corr at 8.26pm on November 18 at his home at Carnalecka, Ballinrobe.
When charged at Castlebar Garda Station at 2.50am this morning, Corr made no reply to any of the four charges.
Gardai had no objection to bail on a number of conditions. These include that Corr surrender his passport, sign on at Ballinrobe Garda Station three times weekly, reside at his Ballinrobe address and provide a cash lodgement of €500.
The case was adjourned to January 19 for DPP directions.
