The Mayo Blackface Sheep Group has reported healthy figures at their annual sale.

The Ballinrobe sale saw over 2,000 sheep for sale.

There was brisk demand for hogget with €250 the highest price achieved and mature ewes also attracted healthy sales figures.. The sale saw 1,100 ewe lambs sold on the day and members of the group were hugely satisfied with the trade on the day.
