Balla will take on Kiltimagh in the Sweeney Cup final in two weeks time after a superb fightback in the closing minutes against Ballinrobe this afternoon.

A late goal in injury time from Gary McHale capped a brilliant comeback for Ger Butler’s side.

Ballinrobe held a five-point lead with fifteen minutes to go which Pete Warren will be disappointed that his side gave away.

Balla will now prepare for their final against Kiltimagh, who beat Hollymount-Carramore last night in the other semi-final. It is their second county final in recent years, having won the 2018 Junior Championship final against Achill.
