A well-known Mayo service station was sold at an online auction today.

The Applegreen service station in Foxford was auctioned off for €630,000.

Currently let to the Petrogas Group, a subsidiary of Applegreen, the current lease runs until 2036 and earns an annual rent of €80,000 which is set to increase to €84,000 from next year for a five year period.
The retail unit extends to some 4,725 sq.ft and the total site which includes a four-pump forecourt and a car wash measures some 0.6 acres.

The service station was among the lots in an online auction hosted by digital property investment platform BidX1. There was just one bid on the Foxford petrol station which matched its €630,000 guide price.
