The world of social media is awash with videos of musicians and singers performing from kitchens and bedrooms instead of pubs and theatres due to the Covid-19 restrictions, and there’s no doubt the quality of some of the performances is exceptional.

Fitting right into that category is this offering from a superb septet of Mayo artists who have come together for the purpose of raising some badly needed funds for the GoodGrub initiative.

Caroline Cresham and her cousins Tracey Jordan Orr and Anne McLaughlin provide the vocals with guitarists Tom Lyons and Mick Buckton supported by bassist Mick Holster and drummer Mylse Cresham on the Don Williams and Eric Clapton classic ‘Tulsa Time’.

‘Good Grub’ is a not-for-profit initiative delivering over 75,000 nutritious fruit and veg parcels directly to the families of DEIS school children around Ireland during the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. DEIS is a national programme that addresses the needs of children and young adults in disadvantaged communities.
