A Belmullet boy’s 50km cycle challenge has raised more than €3,000 for residential care homes in Erris.
Ten-year old Sean Reilly from Tallagh Hill completed the last leg of his fundraising cycle last Sunday. Donations continued to flood in and Sean’s charitable efforts have seen
him top the €3,000 mark.
The fourth class student in Belmullet NS carried out the challenge over five days, cycling the distance within a 2km radius.
“I just wanted to try and raise money and do something to help people,” Sean told the Western People.
