The second count has taken place at the TF in Castlebar which was the distribution of Michael Ring’s surplus vote of 1,925. No candidate has been deemed elected after the second count. Ring transferred well to party colleagues Alan Dillon and Michelle Mulherin, with the pair taking 625 and 494 transfers from Ring respectively. Dara Calleary and Lisa Chambers gained a small bit of ground from the transfer, gaining 214 and 274 votes respectively. The third count will be based on the distribution of Rose Conway-Walsh’s surplus of 1,762 votes.
