BALLINA singer Amanda Ryan is urging the people of Mayo to continue their support of her in her bid to win the TG4 country and western music competition, Glor Tire.
Amanda featured on the first of the programme’s live shows last Wednesday, March 27 and avoided elimination thanks to the public vote.
The Childers Heights’ resident is a daughter of Achill native Anne (nee Kilcoyne) and well known local musician Francis Ryan. She works in Allure hair salon in Ballina but dreams of a career in the music industry.
Amanda is thrilled to have made it through the first of the live shows last week but each week the voting must start afresh and so it is vital that people continue to vote for her in the interim.
“Voting went back to zero last Wednesday. The lines stay open until mid day on Wednesday, April 3. You can vote anytime and as often as you like,” she explained.
Make sure you vote for Amanda before midday tomorrow and tune in tomorrow evening Wednesday, April 3 at 10.30pm when she will perform live on the show again in the hope of making it through to the next round.
You can vote by texting glor7 to 53307 or calling 1513415107.
